Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters met for the customary confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
